An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at the Yorkshire Cricket Board as the Cricket Development Manager for East Yorkshire, covering the unitary authority of Kingston-upon-Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire & the Selby District of North Yorkshire.
Applicants need a sound knowledge and understanding of recreational cricket; a commitment to increase formal and informal participation at all levels and in all situations; proven managerial and administrative competencies; together with excellent communication skills.
The post carries a regional responsibility for recreational cricket in East Yorkshire, including club and facility development, workforce development, Chance to Shine and All Stars Cricket through the current ECB “Cricket Unleashed” strategy. There are opportunities for county-wide responsibilities under the direction of the Executive Director.
The successful applicant will join an established and very successful team led by the Executive Director. This post is not a coaching role but experience of playing and cricket coaching may be an advantage.
The post is full-time, based from home with office space at the University of Hull.
An up to date DBS and a current full UK Driving license is required.
The post attracts a competitive salary and, subject to agreement, the use of a lease car.
