- 24 November, all welcome.
With another summer season now complete, we need to reflect and review how the season went for clubs running women’s teams in 2015.
Did you play enough cricket?
Did you play the most appropriate format?
Did your players enjoy themselves?
What could we do differently in 2016?
We would like to know the answers to these questions and help to create a great cricket season in 2016 by inviting you to attend a workshop to be held on the 24th November at Cleckheaton CC. The workshop will be led by the ECB and supported by staff from the Yorkshire Cricket Board and will explore the following areas:
• Player Survey results and women’s research
• Success of current playing opportunities across the region
• Creating a fun and challenging 2016 season
• Updates on This Girl Can, the new Women’s Cricket Super Leagues and the Women’s World Cup in 2017
The workshop will be run from 7pm to 9pm and it would be great if you could join us. We want to hear from as many clubs as possible, even those just starting to develop a new women’s team, and you are welcome to bring a number of your club members and volunteers.
We look forward to seeing you at the workshop and supporting you to develop a great summer of cricket in 2016.
