All the awards from 2017.
In the last few weeks, the Yorkshire County Age Group presentations have been taking place at Headingley. Last Friday saw the awards for the Under-13 to Under-19 sides in The Long Room. All guests were treated to eloquent speeches by young captains Matthew Weston (U13s), Eliot Bunn (U13 Development), Cooper Smith (U14s), Sam Elstone (U14 Development), Eliot Goldthorpe (U15s), and Joe Smith (U15 Development), as well as Richard Damms (Academy Coach) and Jim Leathley (U19s Manager). Awards were then presented by guest of honour Jonny Tattersall.
Team honours were plentiful in 2017. The Under-15’s were crowned Royal London County Cup A Division Champions, the Under-14’s emerged as North County Champions and the Under 13’s won the Northern Counties ECB competition as well as the Taunton Festival.
The Under-10s, Under-11s and Under-12s took part in a dinner on the 10th November to celebrate their achievements in 2017 with guest of honour Jack Leaning presenting the awards.
