Yorkshire 218-8 (Harry Allinson 87, Nico Georgiou-Nicola 31) beat Cheshire 217-8 (Jack Young 4-42) by 2 wickets.
Yorkshire played the first of their ECB 50 Over Cup matches on Sunday 2nd June. Cheshire won the toss and batted. Opening bowlers Booth and Midgley bowled in good areas with the new ball; Midgley trapping the opener LBW. Cheshire pressed on however and, as usual, the spinners maintained control. Matthew Weston (1-23), Yash Vagadia (2-31 off 9) and Jack Young (4-42 off 10) restricted Cheshire to 217-8 in their 50 overs. Yorkshire suffered an early blow in their reply as Weston was strangled, caught down the leg side in the first over. But Harry Allinson continued where he had left off and scored a sparkling 87, coupled with a Nico Georgiou-Nicola 31. Yorkshire were well in control, but they contrived to lose wickets to careless shots and it was left to Tom Douglas (22*) to see them home . This was a scratchy performance from Yorkshire, but they fortunately had some good individual performances to see them home against a strong Cheshire side.

Yorkshire 249-7 (Rhys Ditta 62, Noah Priestley 42, Harry Finch 40, Nico Georgiou-Nicola 35) beat Derbyshire 147 all out (George Booth 4-17) by 112 runs.
Yorkshire U15A entertained Derbyshire at Castleford on Sunday, hoping to gain revenge for their T20 semi-final defeat. Yorkshire won the toss and elected to bat but we’re soon two down as they lost openers Matthew Weston and Harry Allinson early. But Nico Georgiou-Nicola (35) and Rhys Ditta (62) set about repairing the damage. When they were out, Harry Finch (40) and Noah Priestley (42) upped the scoring rate and Yorkshire ended up with a useful 249-7 in their 50 overs. Derbyshire started their reply steadily, in the face of decent spells from Alex Midgley and George Horbury. Clarke Doughney turned the screw, with 2-35 in his ten overs, as Derbyshire fell behind the rate, a tight spell from Noah Priestley maintained the pressure and George Booth bowled a menacing line and length and deservedly took 4-17 in his six overs. It was left to skipper Weston to clean the tail up and Derbyshire were all out for 137 in the 44th over. This was a much improved performance in the field by Yorkshire, who totally out-fielded the opposition.
