beating Notts.
Yorkshire batting first started well being 75-0 before collapsing to 114-7. A lower order rescue act by Eliot Goldthorp and Lewis O Donnell helped them to a Par score of 169-10 after 49.3 overs.
In reply Notts were cruising at 40-0 and 80-3 before spinners Chris Wood and Harry Sullivan turned the screw backed up by Eliot Goldthorp and Sam Wisniewski. Some good catching and never say die spirit left Notts requiring 7 off the last over with the last pair at the wicket. Archie Greaves, the bowler, saw a snick to third man to leave 5 needed off 5 balls. Greaves then got two Yorkers in and the next ball was driven to mid off where Matthew Revis took a good catch on the run to leave Yorkshire the victors. A close fought game which was a great advertisement for County Age Group cricket.
