The YCB can signpost a full range of women and girls' cricket programmes. There is something for everyone, from social softball cricket for newcomers through to competitive hard ball cricket for those who have developed a taste for the game and want to push on further.
Yorkshire's cricket clubs are involved in a range of women’s competitions with opportunities for all, including soft ball cricket festivals, women's super 8s (pairs) hardball competition, and T20s, and indoor leagues.
It doesn’t matter if you are a complete newcomer to cricket, just enjoy playing with friends, or want to progress into hardball cricket – there will be an event or activity for you.
The YCB work with the MCC Foundation to run all-girls hubs through the winter. These are aimed at girls who already play cricket, to take them to the next level. The girls receive high quality coaching at no cost to the player.
If you wish to discuss any aspect of women and girls cricket in Yorkshire, please contact the relevant W&G Club and League Development Manager for your area.
