Join the latest YCF Activator Course
Club volunteers across West Yorkshire are invited to take part in our upcoming Activator Course being held on Sunday 5th October, 4–6pm at Woodlands Cricket Club Indoor Centre.
This FREE fun and engaging session is designed to equip volunteers with the skills to run safe, inclusive and exciting cricket sessions for children.
Activators play a vital role in inspiring young people and helping them fall in love with the game.
We especially encourage clubs starting their girls’ cricket journey to nominate a volunteer.
This course is a great way to prepare for winter indoor sessions or to launch girls’ cricket with energy and confidence next season.
No cricketing experience required!
Being an Activator is all about having a passion for fun and creating a welcoming environment. To become a compliant Activator and lead All Stars or Dynamos sessions, volunteers need to:
• Complete a free ECB DBS check (for unpaid volunteers)
• Attend a face-to-face Activator training session
• Complete two short online modules on safeguarding and the All Stars/Dynamos ethos
