Coaching Club of the Year.
In recent years, Hallam CC have delivered a myriad of coaching programmes. The club are the heart of the community in the S10 area, supporting the delivery of Chance to Shine cricket within primary and secondary schools, helping promote and activate All Stars cricket through tasters and assembly visits and also hosting five schools Kwik Cricket festivals at the ground each year.
The club go beyond opening the doors to the community, they seek to involve themselves in anything they can and drive cricket, sport, health and community cohesion by being fully integrated within the area. The club has a great committee, who are committed to promoting all aspects of the game. The club have received Clubmark three times and have a robust, clear and exciting development plan.
The club in 2018 had an astonishing 177 All Stars sign up to their two programmes. This year, they passed that total with a staggering 183 children signed up. They hosted a huge World Cup cricket event with a BBQ, bouncy castle, cricket coaching, fun activities, music, CWC bunting and promotional materials to make it a special day.
With five senior sides, 15 junior teams, two girls only sides, a women’s softball team and almost 200 All Stars, Hallam CC epitomise what it means to be a community club whilst offering cricket for all.
