Some action from around the county.
Indoor cricket leagues are again booming around Yorkshire this winter! Below is a little snapshot of a few of the many, many leagues happening around the county at the moment. But that's not all... there are tons more happening all over, so if you'd like to get involved, please look up your local league or contact your local YCB officer, who will happily point you in the right direction.
The East Yorkshire Indoor Senior league has gone from strength to strength, with 12 teams entered for the Wednesday night games, with the top four having a semi final and then the winner going on to make the final. There has been some strong competition between the teams which has been great to see during the winter months.
You can see more about the league via the East Yorkshire Indoor League Play-Cricket Site.
The East Yorkshire Junior league has once again been a huge success for all the clubs in the local area. On Sunday evenings, it's the place to be, with 6 teams entering the U11s competition and 9 teams for the under 13s. Its been great to see the high standard of skills on show in the games and we look forward to seeing what happens after Christmas.

South and West Yorkshire also have a host of indoor leagues running or planned, including South Yorkshire's indoor women's softball and hardball leagues, with 37 teams from 18 clubs entered into the leagues (25 for softball and 12 for hardball). Both leagues will play with their organised divisional leagues throughout the winter and into April before the pre-season for the outdoor leagues begin.
