There is an exciting opportunity for a new coach to join the team at The Yorkshire Cricket Board as a Community Cricket Officer based in the Scarborough/Ryedale District of North Yorkshire.
Applicants need to have a sound knowledge and understanding of recreational cricket and have previous coaching experience in schools, cricket clubs and community groups.
Working with the Head of Region and the Club and Community Development Manager in the region there will be a commitment to increase player participation at all levels and in all situations.
The successful candidate will be required to work directly with local schools, community groups and cricket clubs. They will be responsible for the delivery of the Chance to Shine programme, school competitions, All Stars and Dynamos to engage and retain young people in cricket together with a focus on Women and Girls development and those from a diverse background.
If you are an experienced Level 2 coach with proven administration, IT, marketing, managerial experience and have good communication skills, we are waiting to hear from you.
Working 35 hours a week the role will involve some evening and weekend working.
A competitive salary will be offered to the successful candidates.
