All Stars Cricket
All Stars Cricket provides a fantastic first experience for all children aged 5-8 years old where they’re guaranteed 8 weeks of jam-packed fun, activity and skills development. The programme is designed to introduce children to the sport, teaching them new skills, helping them make new friends and have a great time doing so.
Every child that registers will receive a personalised t-shirt, bat, ball and backpack. Find your local club running All Stars here.
Roses Cricket, Powered by Dynamos
An exciting new cricket programme for girls aged 8–11 across Yorkshire. Roses Cricket, powered by Dynamos, is a fun, inclusive and girls-only cricket initiative designed to inspire the next generation of players. This brand-new programme is perfect for those new to cricket or looking to play in a supportive, female-focused environment.
Why Choose Roses Cricket?
Roses Cricket is all about creating more opportunities for girls to enjoy cricket. The programme provides clubs with the tools, structure, and support to recruit and retain young female players — helping build a stronger, more inclusive future for the game.
Whether girls are picking up a bat for the first time or already love the sport, Roses Cricket offers a great introduction to team play, new skills, and having fun with friends.
Support for Clubs
The Yorkshire Cricket Board (YCB) is here to help clubs every step of the way. Support includes:
• Guidance on launching and running Roses Cricket sessions
• Help with organising local festivals and league fixtures
• Resources for promoting your programme in your community
• Ongoing support from YCB staff and development teams
After completing the Dynamos programme, local clusters of clubs will be invited to take part in a Festivals — a fun celebration of all they’ve learned. Visit the Festivals and competitions section for more information.
Roses Leagues
To continue the momentum, clubs can enter Roses Leagues — an informal, short-format league running at the end of the season. It’s designed to keep girls engaged, give them more game time, and offer a glimpse into what their next season of cricket might look like.
Leagues will be made up of local teams (minimum of 3 per group, depending on entries). YCB staff and League Chairs will share updates and schedules directly with participating clubs.
