Pitch Advisor Service
What is this?
Our County Pitch Advisors are available to undertake a Performance Quality Standards or detailed pitch assessment for squares and/or outfields and the production of a detailed report.
They will undertake basic advisory assessments including visual inspections and the production of short reports. Reports can be written or verbal but to be agreed prior to the site visit.
Why have this?
Most support can be obtained through online links and/or through communications will fellow Grounds Managers. At times it may be required for a club to request a formal visit from a county pitch advisor. This can give you a detailed analysis of your ground and to help formulate a maintenance plan. This can also support how you financially invest into your ground maintenance.
Level of Service Required:
1.Verbal report
Cost £50 plus mileage
2.Visit and Short Report this can be for either the square only or outfield only
(A visit from an ECB/YCB County Pitch Advisor to conduct an inspection/assessment followed by the production of a short report which will include suggested actions).
Cost: £150 plus Mileage
Soil analysis can be added at £95 per sample)
3.Visit with Full detailed report including soil testing and PQS
(A full and all-encompassing inspection/assessment followed by a comprehensive report covering and detailing all matters pertaining to successful cricket facility. Conducted by an ECB/YCB County Pitch Advisor. Full follow-up support).
Cost: £400 plus Mileage
Note: Mileage will be charged at £0.45 per mile
