Clifford Smith Award for Services to Youth Representative Cricket (Joint).
Adam Brown has championed the organisation of live streaming of many County Age Group matches in 2019. In his role as a lecturer at Leeds City College, he has been able to oversee the streaming on match days, whilst having his students do the analyst’s role, as this becomes part of their coursework.
Through the PitchVision system that Adam facilitates, Yorkshire have been able to show players their streamed matches on a ball-by-ball basis. This is incredibly helpful to both players and parents who like to know about and be involved in their child’s development. This system will also be used to upload videos in both summer and especially winter with Pathways sessions.
Adam is also involved with the creation of an online countywide scouting system, helping to produce an on-line reporting form. Adam's expertise has been invaluable in setting up the online system, where Yorkshire will be able to provide each player with an online file/portal where they can access various documents and videos. This will enable a more interaction between players and coaches and facilitate more hands on and tailored learning for players.
Adam also runs the Yorkshire County Age Group U14A side and is meticulous in all he does. He gives his time freely and is a great asset to Yorkshire Cricket. Well done to Adam on a richly deserved award.
