Disability Achiever of the Year.
Matthew Ingram is a permanent fixture for the Yorkshire Terriers’ side, being the first-choice wicketkeeper. Matthew has improved his cricketing skills every season and is also known for his charming personality by his fellow team mates.
Although small in stature, he is big in heart and ability. He has taken great strides during this season to develop both personally and professionally. He has grown in confidence as his wicket keeping demonstrates.
His keeping performances have been both impressive and consistent. He is a very popular member of the team, always encouraging and supporting others and always showing his sunny nature and smile. Given his disability, being a wicket keeper would not be most people's first choice role, but his dedication and commitment show that anything is possible.
It’s a pleasure to see Matthew's constant positive attitude towards playing the game we all love, and the Terriers can’t wait to see him improving for seasons to come.
Well done to Matthew on a very well-deserved award.
