Yorkshire U19s have drawn their latest 2 day game against Derbyshire at Treeton CC after an up and down performance.
Batting first, Yorkshire posted 352 for 9 declared after an early batting collapse saw them reduced to 32 for 4. The innings was rescued by a last wicket partnership of 202 which featured excellent batting by Patrick Dixon 164 not out and last man Matthew Taylor reaching 101 not out,his maiden century.
After bowling Derbyshire out for 169, with spinners James Logan (6 for 34)and Adam Ahmed (2 for 52) doing the damage, Derbyshire reached 153 for 1 following on to secure the draw.
The team play their final game for this season away to Middlesex (playing at Merchant Taylors) on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th of August.
